The numbers are out there, and it can be recognized that a large percentage of companies now use corporate wellness programs. Corporations are seeing the benefits that wellness programs are bringing to the table, and let’s just say, they like the combination of savings that are being presented. On March 29th, at the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee West, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Humana will be presenting the Humana Wellness Summit for employers.
This event will inform companies of the latest trends in health care and all its progression over time. There will also be a discussion by a group of leaders who have great experience in employee corporate wellness programs. They will be sharing their insights and knowledge about starting a wellness program, the components of programs, return on investments, increasing employee buy-ins, and other useful information.
At the event, wellness awards will be presented, giving organizations the opportunity to showcase the achievements of their employees in the field of corporate wellness. The categories will include, “The Healthy Behavior Award”, “The Leadership Award”, and “The Rising Light Award.” Events such as this are helping to promote the corporate wellness industry, encourage companies to join, and help advance the already developed programs businesses are using.
